Majeed SA

Manager – MCaaS

With a Master’s in Business Administration, Majeed is a continuous learner and is passionate about compliance, technology, data and SaaS.

He is responsible for managing all MCaaS-related services, partnering and managing customer support, ensuring the delivery of projects, and supporting the business and product development.

He joined in 2008 and has played pivotal roles across multiple functions, including payment services, business intelligence, agency relationship, data management & analytics, and various operational projects.

With his diverse experience and as an expert in operations management, he was entrusted with leading the compliance operations for the Group. As a key member of the MCaaS team, he oversees the structure, training, staffing policy, forecast, and processes that support our strategies on a global scale.

He strongly believes that compliance should elevate, prioritise transparency and evidence-based practices, integrate with non-compliance teams with proper training and guidance for AML/CFT, ABC, fraud detection and trade/economic sanctions, and reduce turn-around time to meet the growing demands of operational efficiency and risk management.

Jhan Cabiladas

Due Diligence Manager

Jhan oversees and supports the operations at MCaaS. As a maritime compliance professional, his expertise lies in conducting comprehensive screenings of individuals, entities, and vessels for compliance with international regulations and sanctions programmes.

Jhan’s vast experience in the shipping industry enables him to work closely with our Operations team to ensure adherence to process standards. Jhan is currently pursuing a master’s degree in ship management and has completed various compliance trainings and courses.

He is committed to enhancing his knowledge and skillset and as a Lean Six Sigma green belt certified professional, he is equipped with the tools to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency at MCaaS.

Manni Sasani

Commercial Manager

Manni provides commercial support to new and existing clients on a wide array of compliance products and services.

With over 10 years of experience assisting complex businesses operations transform compliance through digitisation, Manni is able to design high ROI solutions that minimise regulatory and treasury risk whilst delivering operational efficiency.

Through MCaaS’ integrated data services and cutting edge solutions focused on maritime trade execution Manni is able to leverage MCaaS’ capabilities to deliver our clients operational and compliance goals.

Based in London and engaging with customers across the globe, Manni is also responsible for partnerships with MCaaS.

Ana Jadanec

Customer Engagement Manager

Ana currently leads MCaaS’ Communication team, focusing on maximising engagement with our customers globally and providing support with online platforms and product demos.

Drawing on her extensive experience in compliance and account management in the banking industry, Ana has a proven track record in conducting due diligence and AML, ABC, and AFC investigations.

Skilled in clearing and custody, Ana also holds prior experience in product and database management, as well as marketing and strategic planning as a business owner.

Currently based in Portugal, Ana comes from a multicultural background and is experienced in working in multinational environments.

Taher Afridi

Deputy Chief Compliance Officer – Marcura

Taher provides oversight and support to the Group’s compliance and cybersecurity initiatives.

He has a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering and brings in over 16 years of experience in various technical areas, many of which were heavily focused on managing information and cybersecurity, and providing guidance and consultancy on military-grade information security infrastructures that span several highly-regulated industries, including the defense, education and military aviation industries. He is certified as PMP, CISSP, CCVP, and CCNP.

Jens Lorens Poulsen

Chair of the Board

Jens is co-founder of Marcura and Chair of the Board.

Previously, Jens was Group CEO for over ten years, focusing on the market, business models and service strategies of the portfolio companies.

Prior to that, Jens was a Senior Partner at Cultivator A/S, then one of Scandinavia’s leading Management Consultancies, where he provided management counsel to Engineering, Software and Pharmaceutical companies.

Earlier, he was involved in the initial launch of Cisco Systems, Inc. in all Scandinavian countries and was Financial Director at UNIRAS A/S, a pioneering scientific visualization software company with global customers. He has held a position as VP Finance for the Treasury of Hafnia, a major Scandinavian insurance group. He started his career with Andersen Consulting, now Accenture.

Christian Siemers Haunso

Founder

Christian is the founder of Marcura and Board member.

Previously, Christian worked in the Structured Commodity Finance Division at ING Barings in Amsterdam and Moscow, with the focus on the metals and shipping industries.

Prior to that he worked at a shipbroking and trading house in Hamburg where his duties covered operations, chartering and grain trading.

Earlier he worked in the shipping liner trade for Überseeschiffahrtsagentur Transnautic in Hamburg.

Christian holds a Master in Shipping, Trade and Finance from Cass Business School.

Henrik Hyldahn

Group CEO

Henrik is the Group CEO of Marcura and brings over 20 years of leadership experience in driving financial and personal growth through innovative technology solutions.

Previously, Henrik was the CEO of ShipServ, the world’s leading e-procurement platform for ship owners/managers, shipyards, and more than 73,000 marine industry suppliers.

Henrik has become best known for his innovative approach to solving complex industry challenges by developing simple, secure, sustainable solutions.

He has a strong track record of building and leading multicultural teams to ensure scalable value delivery through efficient use of technology and unleashing employee potential through mentorship while ensuring a wider purpose and growth plan for the entire team.

Jan-Olivier Fillols

Board Director of Marcura and Managing Director of Marlin Equity Partners

Jan-Olivier’s primary responsibilities at Marlin include deal qualification, conducting due diligence, transaction execution and portfolio monitoring.

Prior to joining Marlin, he worked at 3i Group where he focused on private equity investments across a broad range of sectors and geographies.

Prior to this, he worked as an investment banker at Jefferies where he specialised in mergers and acquisitions and public market transactions.

Before his career in finance, Jan-Olivier held software development positions at diagnostics company Roche and telecoms provider Ascom. He earned an M.Sc. in Finance and Economics from the London School of Economics and an M.Sc. in Communication Systems from the Swiss Institute of Technology (EPFL).
